The Enterprise Universal Program Translator was designed to solve a growing problem in the International Software Business, which is getting the Software Interface, created in one country using one language easily translated into another country's home language. Getting the Software Interface easily translated into the target country's home language was once a very long and tedious process, but now the Enterprise Universal Program translator will perform 90% - 99% of the translation work automatically! For more information on this system and how it works, please read below! If you ever needed to translate a large Dot Net Program into another language, the Enterprise Universal Translator is the best tool available to do the job. The translator can take a large ASP Dot Net or VB Dot Net application, and automatically translate the interface source code from any language, into any other language. This will allow you to build multiple versions of your software interface, one for each language you support. The process is quick and automated. The system can even change the page's encoding so languages are coded to appear properly on the page. Languages that currently work with the Universal Program Translator:

This movie shows us first opening Internet Explorer to show you the pre-translated application, then shows the operation of the translator tool, and finally shows the same site again as translated by the tool. There are several different ways of presenting an interface in a foreign language using the Dot Net system, and these methods are flawed.
One method is the use of resource files within the application, which works for small applications but does not scale and will not work with large multi-user systems.
Another method is to build the foreign language support into the database back-end, but this requires a very complex primary key system in the database, and it adds a huge amount of overhead to the database and adds a lot of network traffic as well, since you are now sending not only data across the network, but each individual interface element as well, to each of the users, all of the time.
Design-wise we feel that language is a presentation layer issue, and therefore the solution belongs in that layer.
Since none of these solutions is workable for large scale on-line or smart client systems, we decided to build the Enterprise Universal Translator!
